How to Install an Automatic Pool Vacuum

affixed on the walls of the pool where it automatically sucks dirt and algae

being generated by the water pump, using the motion of the water to effectively

Instructions on Installing an
Automatic Pool Vacuum

1. Take out the parts from the container and lay
   them down on the pool side.
2. Put the vacuum head, vacuum head groove, and
   foot pad together to form the vacuum head assembly. Turn the vacuum head to
   make sure the current setup allows it to turn freely.
3. Attach the buoyancy ring at the top of the
   assembly otherwise known as the vacuum hose initial section.
4. Determine the length required so that the hose
   can reach the desired location. Provide an extra four to five feet of
   allowance.
5. Adjust the buoyancy ring to make the assembly
   properly placed.
6. Add more hose sections so that the Automatic
   Pool Vacuum can cover the entire pool floor. Remember to submerge the hose
   sections under water first to push up the air inside of them before attaching
   them to the assembly.
7. Switch the pool pump on and connect the end of
   the hose to the skimmer well. Do not forget that the hose should pass right through
   the skimmer. Turn the vacuum on.
8. Observe the behavior of the vacuum. It should be
   running around and across the pool floor. Make sure it passes every point of
   the floor. Switch the pump on and off. The vacuum should automatically switch
   on and off together with the pump.
9. Make final checks on the Automatic Pool Vacuum.
   The foot pad should constantly remain flat on the pool floor to ensure it
   remains in place.
10. Do not forget to regularly check the pump basket
    and empty it when the dirt that has been collected in it becomes more than half
    of its capacity.
