Keep Your Pool Clean and Safe with the Hayward Pool Vacuum

Above ground pools have recently
boomed in popularity and one of them is the hayward pool vacuum. More and more households now prefer them over underground
pools because they are easier and faster to construct.

Why Are Many People Choosing Hayward Pool Vacuum?

Increasing the size of
the pool is also many times easier if it is located above ground. Having
transparent pool walls also allow people to watch the people swim from a very
panoramic point of view. Above ground pools however require more maintenance
that underground ones. Cleaning and maintaining a pool usually required hours
of hard work. Fortunately for pool owners, they can get a hayward pool vacuum
to do all the work for them. It is a type of vacuum that cleans the pool floor
in circular motion patterns.

Hayward Pool Vacuum for Maintenance

The bigger the pool, the more
effort and time is needed to keep it safe and clean. This is the primary reason
why many families opt for smaller above ground pools. However, there are times
that having a bigger pool cannot be avoided such as when your family is
growing. Time may come when your current pool will no longer be able to
accommodate every member of the family. When this time comes you will need to
choose between two options; keep the pool size the same and keep the number of
people that can swim together limited, or expand the pool and also increase the
amount of maintenance work required. Having a hayward pool vacuum will make
coming up with a choice easy because you need not worry about maintenance
anymore.

safe is a necessity. A pool should be a medium for fun, enjoyment, and
relaxation. It should not become a health hazard because of dirty water or a

How to Install an Automatic Pool Vacuum

The Automatic Pool Vacuum is your
best friend when it comes to keeping your swimming pool clean and safe.

What is An Automatic Pool Vacuum?

It is often referred to as a suction side cleaner due to the fact that is generally
affixed on the walls of the pool where it automatically sucks dirt and algae
from the pool water. It can also be affixed to the water pump if you want to
keep it hidden to swimmers.

Automatic Pool Vacuum and Water Pump

The automatic pool vacuum takes advantage of the water circulation
being generated by the water pump, using the motion of the water to effectively
suck in unwanted particles. Another desirable trait of the Automatic Pool
Vacuum is that it comes in very few parts and thus very minimal maintenance and
adjustments is required.

Instructions on Installing an
Automatic Pool Vacuum

  1. Take out the parts from the container and lay
them down on the pool side.
  2. Put the vacuum head, vacuum head groove, and
foot pad together to form the vacuum head assembly. Turn the vacuum head to
make sure the current setup allows it to turn freely.
  3. Attach the buoyancy ring at the top of the
assembly otherwise known as the vacuum hose initial section.
  4. Determine the length required so that the hose
can reach the desired location. Provide an extra four to five feet of
    allowance.
  5. Adjust the buoyancy ring to make the assembly
    properly placed.
  6. Add more hose sections so that the Automatic
Pool Vacuum can cover the entire pool floor. Remember to submerge the hose
sections under water first to push up the air inside of them before attaching
    them to the assembly.
  7. Switch the pool pump on and connect the end of
the hose to the skimmer well. Do not forget that the hose should pass right through
the skimmer. Turn the vacuum on.
  8. Observe the behavior of the vacuum. It should be
running around and across the pool floor. Make sure it passes every point of
the floor. Switch the pump on and off. The vacuum should automatically switch
on and off together with the pump.
  9. Make final checks on the Automatic Pool Vacuum.
The foot pad should constantly remain flat on the pool floor to ensure it
    remains in place.
  10. Do not forget to regularly check the pump basket
and empty it when the dirt that has been collected in it becomes more than half
    of its capacity.
