How to Use an Above Ground Pool Vacuum

the backyard is a very big blessing especially during the hot summer days. It
can serve as a refuge to escape the unforgiving heat. With its enormous
benefits however also comes a lot of maintenance work. A pool should always be

just becomes an eyesore because of discoloration; it can also become a source
of annoying foul odor. The dirty water is also a huge health hazard. The dirt can

Using an

things.

1. Use a

2. Use a

3. Check
the Ph value and chlorine level of your pool water to determine whether it is
still safe to swim in it. You may use a pool testing kit or a simple litmus
strip to do so. If the ph value and chlorine level are already below the
standard it is time for you to have your pool water chemically treated. The
standard ph value is 7.2 – 7.8 while the acceptable chlorine level is 1.0 – 2.0
ppm.
4. Time
will surely come when your pool will need chemical treatment. When that time
comes it is best that you purchase a bottle of chlorine pool treatment and a
bottle of Ph solution. Move around the pool when applying the chemicals to make
them more evenly distributed over the pool water. After getting the chemicals
into the water, get the pool filter running and leave it like that for at least
a 24 hours. check the filter every few hours to see if there are too much dirt
caught by it in which case you should make the filter backwash to repel the
dirt.

Using An Above Ground Pool Vacuum: After Everything Else

5. After
the chemical treatment has properly mixed together with the pool water you now
need to test the Ph value and chlorine level is they are now up to standards. If
the chemical status is currently in acceptable state, just keep the water pump

the dirt stuck to the filter as well as on the pool floor. Wait several seconds
